Dance schools trust and depend on my services year after year. I strongly believe that paying attention to details is crucial, I am always improving and trying to deliver the best possible service to all my dance schools. I provide a variety of options to ensure that your event is customised to your requirements.
As a dance teacher or parent, you know how difficult it can be to get those perfect photos of your young dancers. That's where I come in! I am happy to attend dance shows at no charge, and here's how I usually operate: For DANCE SHOWS, I prefer to shoot the dress rehearsal to capture those impossible shots without an audience, and then shoot one or two live shows. If we can do this all in one, even better!
Shooting the rehearsal is an amazing opportunity to capture the best shots during the show!. Dancers usually give their best performance in front of a full audience, but rehearsal shooting this way allows me to be fully prepared for any particular shots that come up.
PREPAID SHOWS...For Shows and headshot sessions, there is the option of the pre-payment scheme, although this is only usually viable when the vast majority take part. Essentially, it means all dancers pay a small fee (price depends on the number taking part) – and then they would have access to download all and any images they wanted from the event as digital files. They can then share these on social media and get prints, wall art and other photo products made up at a photo lab. So in summary, they get all the photos taken for a fixed fee of £16 -£25 per dancer. Believe it or not, this is the best way of buying photos as the average spend for a show (under the usual system) is more than double this amount, so the parents save money and get every image taken. The problem, as always, is getting people to pay up front initially.
This program has been a huge success for many years and the best part is that it's completely free for the school.. Not only do they receive a variety of stunning images to use on their website and for promotions, but the parents and dancers also get to keep these precious memories forever. It's truly a win-win situation for everyone!
